Converse ConverseĬonverse teamed up with young LGBT+ creatives to reimagine a series of the brand’s classic high tops, sliders, T-shirts and more. The collection benefits Converse’s longtime partners globally and locally, including the It Gets Better Project, Ali Forney Center, BAGLY and OUT MetroWest. Levi’s donate to OutRight Action every Pride Month, which helps to support their work all year round. Levi’s has produced a line of rainbow-ed tees, denim and accessories, with 100 per cent of net proceeds going to OutRight Action International, a nonprofit working to defend and advance human rights for LGBTQIA+ people around the globe. Unfortunately, not all brands put their money where their mouth is, but there are several brands out there who are donating a portion of their profits (or making a one-off donation) to charities that support the LGBTQ+ community here in the UK and around the world. To do this, lots of fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands have brought out one-off, limited-edition items (oft bedecked in rainbows in the spirit of the LGBTQ+ pride flag).
As June marks LGBTQ+ Pride Month, which aims to raise awareness of and celebrate the global LGBTQ+ community, many brands often take this opportunity to show their support and solidarity with the community.
